If you're concerned about the salt in butter, buy unsalted butter instead.
- Margarine should never be used. I don't care if the package screams "Trans-fat free!" You see, food companies may start out with trans-fat free polyunsaturated oils, heat is used in the process when margarine is made, and you now know what that means...
Yup. Trans-fats are in there, regardless of what the label says.
- Polyunsaturated oils (including canola oil, margarine, vegetable oil, grape seed oil, and corn oil) should never be used for cooking. As soon as your frying pan heats up, voila--you've got trans-fats. They are, however, fine for salads or for drizzling on foods after they are cooked (since the trans-fat aspect will not be cooked directly INTO the food).
- Read food labels. If they mention hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, do NOT buy the product. It's a box full of trans-fats.
- Fast food restaurants typically fry their foods (including French fries and deep fried chicken or fish) in canola oil. This IS cooking to trans-fat.

For more information and to purchase the program, please visit our website www.holisticblends.com Client supporthttp://www.holisticblends.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757651542638337360.post-53185149198513877222015-11-06T08:44:18.550-05:002015-11-06T08:44:18.550-05:00Unlike typical distilled vinegars (which are acidi...Unlike typical distilled vinegars (which are acidic), raw (unfiltered) apple cider vinegar is alkaline to the body. There have been conflicting claims about the benefits that can be derived from apple cider vinegar. Regardless of what you believe or don't believe can be "cured" by drinking apple cider vinegar, the bottom line is this:
Having an acid pH in the body (acidosis) most definitely affects your body's ability to heal itself and to effectively use vitamins, minerals and supplements. Acidosis is a causing or contributing factor to a whole range of diseases and illnesses.
So, apple cider vinegar, being alkaline in nature, helps regulate the body's pH levels, thus reducing acidosis-that's a fact.
Therefore, it's not a stretch to associate apple cider vinegar with curing various illnesses.
Great Taste No Pain goes into great detail about the effects of acidosis on the body, as well as provides a detailed guide of what foods are acidic or alkaline.
You can learn about the new second edition here: http://www.holisticblends.com/Great-Taste-No-Pain-Book-p/v14gtnpb.htm

It can help with digestion as well; many people who are lacking digestive enzymes find it helpful to take one or two teaspoons per meal.

We recommend an internet search for more information.

If you have questions about our products, please contact our support team at support@holisticblends.com.

Client supporthttp://www.holisticblends.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757651542638337360.post-63717661425416233842015-11-06T08:33:15.140-05:002015-11-06T08:33:15.140-05:00Benefits of Apple Cidar Vinegar with Mother?Benefits of Apple Cidar Vinegar with Mother?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16152382566605164833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1757651542638337360.post-22502761932457009682015-11-06T08:03:35.665-05:002015-11-06T08:03:35.665-05:00Hi Sherry

I realise potato chips are absolute junk and best avoided but in Ireland most manufacturers guarantee no hydrogenated products. I also use camelina oil as an inexpensive plant form of omega 3.....any info on this would be appreciated... Many Thanks.....
